Geoff Ogilvy's double eagle on the sixth hole in the first round of The Honda Classic was the second one recorded on TOUR in 2006. In 2005, there were only six double eagles for the entire year. Compared to the 30 aces recorded in 2005, it is a much rarer occurrence, but two players, Tag Ridings and Bill Glasson, each had a double eagle and a hole-in-one in 2005.
