Internships

Our internship programs are designed to expose college students to the business side of golf that supports one of the world's leading sports brands -- the PGA TOUR. Your 9-12 week internship experience will be enhanced by activities and projects that will allow you to gain a full picture of how the PGA TOUR and other golf organizations work together to support our players, charities and events on the PGA TOUR, Champions Tour and the Nationwide Tour.

Eligibility Criteria:

At the time of application, all candidates must:
• be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program; and
• have completed their sophomore year before the start of the internship; and
• be legally permitted to work in the United States*; and
• have a minimum cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 2.6 on a 4.0 scale.

*International students must be currently enrolled in a US college or university and obtain all visas and employment authorizations prior to the start of the internship. We strongly encourage these students to begin this process early as it may require several months to complete. Contact the International Student Advisor at your university for specific information and requirements.

PGA TOUR Diversity Internship Program

The PGA TOUR is committed to attaining greater diversity within our organization, as well as, the golf industry. To support this effort, the PGA TOUR established the Diversity Internship Program in 1992. Several internship opportunities are available in Human Resources, Marketing, Communications, TV Production, Information Systems, Event Management and other areas within the PGA TOUR. We have also partnered with other golf industry leaders such as Acushnet Companies (Titleist, Foot Joy, etc.), The Golf Channel, The First Tee and the World Golf Hall of Fame to help them diversify their workforce.

In addition to the qualifications listed above, the Diversity Internship Program is only available to minority students who are of African American, Hispanic, Asian American/Pacific Islander or Native American descent. While a majority of our internships are located at our corporate headquarters in Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla., and offered from June to August, we do have some in the fall in Miami, FL. and Sonoma, CA.

PGA TOUR Internship Program

The PGA TOUR Internship Program is open to all qualified college students, regardless of ethnicity. Opportunities are available in our Communications, Marketing, Golf Club Operations, New Media, TV Productions, and Tournament Services departments. Internships in this program are located at PGA TOUR headquarters in Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla. and various tournament sites located throughout the country. These internships are available throughout the year, with a majority of positions open during the summer.

Application Process:

What to do PRIOR to beginning the on-line application process:
1. Read the program brochure (.pdf) for more information about our program.
2. Create a resume in MS Word format (.doc).
3. Complete the Personal Essay Form.

• a. Download the Personal Essay Form. We suggest that you complete this offline prior to beginning the on-line application process, however, this document may be added to your profile later if necessary. We will only consider applications with completed Personal Essays for open positions.
• b. Save your document.

What to expect once you have completed the application:

Once you have created an on-line Application Profile, we will send you an email confirming your application. We will include the username and password that you selected. Keep this information in a safe place so that you can access your application at a later date if necessary.
